Alexandra Carter Joins WKBT La Crosse News Team

Morgan Murphy-owned CBS affiliate WKBT La Crosse, Wis., has added Alexandra Carter to its morning and noon newscasts. She will join meteorologist Derek Sibley on both shows.

Raised in Canada, Alexandra has worked in a variety of newsroom positions in Texas, Alabama and Quincy, Ill. She earned her journalism degree at the University of Colorado and brings more than a decade of journalistic experience to the News 8 Now newsroom.

“We’re very much looking forward to Alexandra being a part of the team,” says Jason Walker, news director. “Our morning and noon newscasts are a critical part of our viewer’s days. She’ll be a welcome and confident voice to the start of their mornings.”

Alexandra’s first day on News 8 Now This Morning is Thursday, Oct. 19.
