History International HD Launches This Month

A&E's History cable channel is launching History International HD (HI HD), a new 24-hour high-definition television network this month.

The new HD channel joins the AETN HD lineup that includes History HD, A&E HD, BIO HD, CI HD, Lifetime HD and LMN HD.

HI HD makes its official debut in Time Warner's New York City and Los Angeles markets, Brighthouse's Tampa and Orlando markets, and Cox's Kansas and Arkansas markets this month.

The network will simulcast the entire HI lineup of original, nonfiction series and specials.
