New Posts For Two Broadcast Pix Execs
Broadcast Pix has named company co-founder Russell Whittaker senior vice president, and has promoted Arco Groenenberg to vice president of sales. Whittaker had been vice president of sales for the company, while Groenenberg had been director of sales, Americas and Asia.
Broadcast Pix also announced the opening of a new sales office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Whittaker, a veteran of the television equipment marketplace, helped establish Broadcast Pix in 2002. A graduate of Boston University, he previously led the sales efforts at Echolab, where he worked from 1981 to 1990 and again from 1995 to 2002. He also was president of 625, a representative of American manufacturers exporting to Europe, from 1991 to 1995. At Broadcast Pix, his duties as senior vice president include consulting with key accounts and building relationships with partners.
Groenenberg (agroenenberg@broadcastpix.com) joined Broadcast Pix in 2007. Previously, he held a variety of senior sales positions in Europe and the United States for more than a decade at Pinnacle. When Avid Technology acquired Pinnacle in 2005, he was named sales manager for broadcast — post and new media. Groenenberg earned his bachelor's degree in business and management from the University of Phoenix.
Whittaker (rwhittacker@broadcastpix.com) will continue to work out of the company's main office in Billerica, Mass., while Groenenberg is based in Las Vegas.
Broadcast Pix already has offices throughout North America, as well as Europe and China. Victor Porter, business development — South America, will operate the new office in Rio de Janeiro, providing service and support for customers in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. Contact Porter at +55-21-2541 3022 or victor.porter@broadcastpix.com.

What station do you work for. I'd like to speak with you about the product that you purchased. Interested in a similar set up with robotic cameras and live chroma key to air. So many options are available now days it's hard to find one that truly offers an outstanding product
Thanks
