LoRay To Head HR For Fox O&Os

Adrienne LoRay today was named senior vice president of human resources for the Fox Television Stations (FTS).

Effective immediately and reporting directly to CEO Jack Abernethy, LoRay will be responsible for all personnel functions for the 27 Fox owned-and-operated stations, Fox Stations Sales, Twentieth Television and MyNetworkTV, including but not limited to: labor and employee relations, federal and state regulatory compliance, recruitment and retention, training and development, and benefits administration.

In making the announcement, Abernethy stated, "Over the past twelve years, Adrienne has been a valued member of the Fox Television Stations human resources team.  During this time of rapid change in our industry, we are fortunate to have someone with her vast experience in this role."

Most recently, LoRay was regional vice president of human resources, FTS, where she oversaw the human resources departments of WTXF Philadelphia, WAGA Atlanta, KRIV and KTXH Houston and WHBQ Memphis.  She also was vice president of community affairs for WAGA.

LoRay joined FTS In 1997 as director of human resources for WAGA and WHBQ; she was promoted to regional vice president in 1998.

Prior to joining WAGA, LoRay spent more than three-and-a-half years as the director of human resources for WATL, the former Fox O&O in Atlanta. Following the purchase of the station by Qwest Broadcasting LLC, LoRay was named corporate director of human resources for both Qwest owned-and-operated stations, WATL and WNOL New Orleans.

A graduate of Maryville College with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, LoRay also holds a Master's of Science in personnel and employment relations from Georgia State University.
