'Queen Latifah' Gets Time Slots Assignments
Queen Latifah from Sony Pictures Television, which long ago locked down launch group CBS Television Stations, has firmed up its time slots, including 9 a.m. on WCBS New York and 2 p.m. on both KCBS Los Angeles and WBBM Chicago.
The show with the actress-singer will debut on Monday, Sept. 16, also on CBS O&Os KYW Philadelphia (DMA 4) at 3 p.m. and KTVT Dallas (DMA 5) at 2 p.m.
Queen Latifah will have double runs in a number of markets. Those second airings can boost a show’s rating in some markets by a half-rating point or more. Queen Latifah will have secondary runs at 7 p.m., for example, on CBS Television Stations’ independents WLNY New York, KCAL Los Angeles and Weigel Broadcasting’s independent WCIU Chicago.
Queen Latifah is a talk-variety show that has been cleared in nearly 100% of TV homes in two-year, cash-plus-barter deals to start this fall.
