New Set Design Firm, Fifteenhundred, Launched
A new set design firm, from the team behind the TV news creative Web site NewscastStudio, has opened its doors in Columbia, Mo.
The new company, Fifteenhundred, is owned and operated by Michael P. Hill, NewscastStudio's founder, and Dak Dillon, the site's editor.
At the core of Fifteenhundred is a fresh perspective and approach to design, according to the owners.
"Each client presents a new challenge and gives Fifteenhundred the chance to fill a blank slate with innovative ideas," said Dillon.
"Our fresh perspective is evidenced by innovative designs that appeal to today's TV demographics," said Hill. Some of these designs are available on the firm's Web site, www.fifteenhundred.tv.
Hill's experience includes years of experience providing analysis on set design for NewscastStudio as well as experience working in the industry. Hill has also worked in television news production, bringing real experience in the day to day demands of working on a set.
Dillon has a varied marketing, sales and design background as well as experience covering the television news creative industry for NewscastStudio.
